PvP rocks!!

Got 6 PvP kills last night and wasnt slain at all.

4 against a Tuaren Druid lvl 33 (i'm 32, were both questing in the same area for an hour) and 2 against a level 37 Orc warrior. The warrior was very hard and nearly had me twice but a Alliance Priest appeared in the middle of the first battle and healed me and our Very Own Hexx appeared from know where in the Cave the battle was taking place and healed me the second time (as well as pulling about 5 orge mobs into the area as well *snakes head*).

So going to keep questing and level to 34 tonight and kill more Horde. Hexx get to southshore. There are a load (about 7 easy to do quests there so we can shoot up the levels fast). Southshore is at the south part of the Hillsbrad Foothills. Also bought a great sword called The Butcher that looks like a butchers knife x5.

hehehe, yeah them ogres loved me lol!, just as we were getting out it was frantically kill the bastid ogres before they get us..., was a quiet night for me sadly just the one honour point when i healed settanta.

BUT TONIGHT IS FRIDAY AND this means we can kill tons because my bro aint going to bed at 10

Hexx get to Southshore and get all the quests. Do the Murloc quest first and the get the follow up quest. Then we are both at the exact same point in the Southshore quests then. I'll be home at 6:15 so will be on then and we can race through all the quests of southshore together, fly up a level or 2 and kill Horde as we do it. Have to go out at about 9:30 so we've 3 hours to do them all.

Should leave us nicely set for hitting level 35+ on Saturday. We get enough PvP kills we get a new rank.

Be ready as i dont want to hang about doing nothing on the servers tonight.

was a MASS war going down last night in Arathi, me and settanta managed to get loads of kills and honour points, was at least 20 a side, probably loads more, the horde just kept coming and dying, chased them back several times, then after that we entered Arathi Basin and got many more kills, altogether very good night 40 plus kills

Yes was very good alright!

But we are both to low level for Arathi Basin as the Horde team was full of Level 39 scum while you are lvl 31 Hexx. Not much chance against them 1v1 Hexx. So we need to both be lvl 37 before we can do it well.

Goin to take weeks to get a decent PVP rank.

You can rellocate talent points, which is frigging costly.

would you beable to give me a rough guide as to what warrior talents i'd be wanting so i don't have to change it, for a general all round character??

Respeced by Rouge last night and cost me 1gold. I think next time it will cost me 3 or 5 or something.

Put a point in riposete (or whatever) though havent got a chance to do it.

When you are in battle Soleft do u use keys or mouse to select ur moves?

i myself use the mouse, dunno why i just can't get the hang of those buttons in that game, its probably because i end up hitting the wrong ones,

gw is better for that, you have only 8 skills to choose, so you dont really get them muddled up ;-)

but i will get the hang of it soon ^^

where can you change your talent points, and can you remove them all and start again or is it only the ones in each cat?

Get used to the keyboard, if you don't you will get owned by people who use the keyboard, they are a lot faster, able to throw moves quicker, able to do backstab etc. dont get used to the mouse.

Totally agree. i always use my keyboard and allocate my moves in orders of how often I use them and combos etc. Really quick and simple

Do you use the numpad for all you moves?

Might try and figure out this.. assign moves to each of the numpad keys.

Also need some good gear for my rouge.

Want lvl 36+ gear so i get an advantage in pvp. Having problems with Shamens and sometimes a good warrior can get me good. Using swords. Usually stealth up behind a horde who is fighting a monster and garothe him and the build up 5 combo points with Sinister Strike then eviserate for 200+ dmg.

Dont have any snares so if I know i'm going to be PvP i will but 'slowing poision' on one of my swords to stop the horde trying to flee and instant poision on the other for the damage. Though sprint can be good enough for a while if they are nearly dead. Though i try and keep that for when i am nearly dead. With swords if seems the rouge misses a big opening damage move.

Most of my kit if agility boosting stuff but need a necklace and helm. Havent got armour or anything decent in a long time.

Soleft can u see if you can collect me some good stuff tonight. Will go up a another level tonight and then PvP again. Though need decent everything since i've all lvl 20+ shite.

My main sword is good! Its fast, does 30-54 dmag, chance of shadow damage & +3 dmg enchanment on it. Need a good off-hand sword. Still using the one we got from the dude in the instance we did loads at the start with a +2dmg enchantment on it.

Have been killing lots of Horde Druids and a small mix of others.

I usually stealth and hang around the edges of big battles and look for mages or druids outside the battle and try and eviserate them or pull out my bow and tag all the nearly dead horde for the Honor Kills.

Another thing Soleft! Sometimes i destroying a Horde and he can heal himself a nice bit. I guess he just a potion or something else.

If i learn first aid can i heal myself a bit during battle? Or are healing potions my only real option?

Are bandages much use when in a fight.

Need a few pointer to help me win the close PvP battles i occasionally loose!

Some tips.

Sword/Mace rogue
you do stun lock tactics (don't ever use garrote)

Dagger rogue
You use ambush, and backstab

With your keyboard you can only reach up to number 5 on your bar with ease. Simply in battle press shift+2 to switch onto the second bar.

OR better yet buy a zboard with preconfigured buttons in easy to reach places! WoW Zboard Keyset, you can buy it (along with the actual board) off of amazon!

Worthwhile purchase, makes css that little bit easier too!

Why not garrote?

Its the only stealth opener i have since i cant backstap or ambush without holding a knive in main hand. Since you got ur sexor sword what do you open with when u stealh up behind somebody?

Goin to try and buy some items tonight. Start to improve my rouge. Might get some misc items if i can for cheap as those slots are empty.

Send me anything you can dude as i'm pretty under kitted. A nice magic bow for the stats boost would be handy too.

i have a dagger in main hand, as soon as I open, I switch to my sword. If you are a sword user you are meant to open up with cheap shot.

What does cheapshot do?? OK will go learn cheapshot off Rouge Trainer tonight.

Got beaten by a Lvl33 rouge last night though he got me with an opener and was using haste/sprint during the fight to get backstabs in on me.

Though was also a lvl 41 mage/warlock with him so he might have been damaging me at the same time.

Bough loads of stuff in AH last night. Though couldnt find any good amrour. Was a nice blue amour set with +16agility and others stuff but was 8g so passed on that.

Still using the sword 'Cruel Barb' in my off-hand but put a bid in for another last night. I need some MISC gear and a necklace etc. So if you can get me some of that shite soleft it would be much appreciated. Will hit level 36tonight.

Questing in Stanglethorn Vale(south of Duskwood if you want to find it Hexx) at the moment and it is packed with Horde and high lvl mobs so is slow work but should lvl quick.I guess its a lvl 35+ area.

Also a neutral town that both Horde and Alliance can use together. Though was killed in there by horde high level rouge.

i believe cheapshot is like ambush (if you're in stealth, you attack an enemy from behind with it) and you stun the enemy for X seconds. for a sword rogue this gives you (and your party) an oppertunity to attack and maybe even surprise attack tanks and stuff before they get a chance to react.

If i have my facts right you can use this along with other moves for the stunlock combo... soleft said something about this being made less effective than it used to be... I, however, wouldnt know having never played the game.

I'm guessing AH is a place to buy stuff, what does it stand for and how does it work?

Auction house! Its a place you can put all the loot you find up for auction amoung all the alliance/horde players in the game. Its where you can find some nice gear for yourself.

Sometimes if you are careful and look alot you can get some nice gear for a good price.

Do i can stun a player and hack away at him for a time before he can react.. ummm I wonder what the beneif of that is over Garrote as if i stealth in i can garrotte the enemy which if its another rouge will stop them stealthing etc and i can then hammer them with my swords!

Also found putting slowing poision on my swords a great way for stop Druids and Hunters running away from me.

But i love stallking the horde until they engage in a fight with a mob and then attack them... ahh they have no chance. Then after i finish off the monster too!
