Was playing as a Paladin character last night. Have been playing as a lvl 18 rouge for the last week.

I got a real surprise at how hardy the Paladin(lvl 12) was. I am used to dying with my rouge because he takes so much damge. But with the Paladin i was killing mobs 3 lvls above me. The paladin fights and takes the dmg and then heals and keeps going. Using my 2 stun moves to buy more time while i heal. Seems like an excellent soloing character though it seems like i attack a little slow.

Just bought another copy of Warcraft cause my test account ran out and dont want to loose my Rouge on it. GF will play on the original account with the Paladin.

I'm thinking about going to the Night Elf area tonight to do the quests there since i have done all quests up to 21 and my Rouge is lvl18.

Or even better we go to an instance and try and find a good sword!

By the By. If anybody wants to play WoW they can use my 2nd account if they like. You just need to borrow disks and install the game and i give you the account name and password.

I would have thought the Paladin would be quite good, I don't like playing classes without the ability to heal themselves, I just feel so vunerable.
I'd take you up on your offer, but I'm affraid I'd like it too much, and end up buying it myself...and I'm trying to save money at the moment.

Palladins and Warriors go under the hybrid class. Very good for solo playing. Your not playing your rogue character as you should. The main function of rogue is to reduce the amount of players your fighting, keep the enemy out of action (stun lock tactics), and give high damage. Rogue can not take a hit, and you sort of run into the enemy brain xD, maybe a warrior or pally is better for u. Another thing is, rogues can pick lock, pick pocket and go through loads of enemies without any hassel while stealthed. Like in some instances there are loads of mobs, I just stealth my way through all of them and get to the boss. 1 hour quest finished in 10 mins.

Pally - Tank/heal
Warrior - Tank/damage
Priest - Heal/apparently really good at pvp at level 60
Mage - High Damage dealers/reduce amount of enemies to fight
Rogue - High Damage dealers/reduce amount of enemies to fight
Warlock - Not sure, havn't played this class, guess the same as mage
Hunter - The most gimped class, pretty useless. These guys are so useless that blizzard are actually making an update on them.
Druid - Multi functional character, heal/attack/buff(really good buffs)/shapeshift
Shaman - Don't know too much, high spell damage, and they have high hp too, said to be good.

In any group you need - Priest, Tank, damage dealers. In that order of importance.

Its hard trying to do the lvl21+ quests by myself. I'll join up with you later and help you quest or something in human areas.

I want to go to Daranus to learn the Bow so when the enemy runs i can pull out my bow and attack from range as sometimes the enemy runs into other mobs and i can follow in. Also a bow will help me pull mobs.

Maybe we can try and instance later on.

Pick a Mage - I've been playing a mage lately and he's now level 34 - I can beat most melee classes and with the armour buffs i'm usually hardier than most rogues around my level... Mojo, any class can heal itself with first aid, and with enough skill level in that you can heal yourself to half your health in not too long.

It seems every pally I fight i can get away from really easily - don't they have anything to snare enemies?

shifty you obviously havent dueled me!, i know how to beat mages with a pala

cant slow me down bitch and i can soon catch you ;-)

plus the one thing about palas is that they can just keep healing and healing and take you down

Warlock is a caster class (like the mage)

warlocks specialise in Damage Over Time, mages do insta damage, only downside to warlocks is thier dependance on shards

i like em, hunters are fun too now, 1.7 made a big diff in the amount of damage the pet does. stuff just dies so much faster

I long for broad band at home again. 3months ago my lvl25 rogue kicked ass but havent been able to play that or cs for ages. Serious withdrawl symptoms

my friend plays a warlock soleft, he says that the warlock is better for damage dealing, but it's just slightly different style.

I ran away from a level 40 paladin on less than 10 hp for about 10 minutes - and no mana - i think it's a bit of a fault with the paladin that i can just run away and you can't catch me at all with no snares/slowing effects. i only died when i looked back and ran into a mob.

yeah that is the annoying thing, only 3 times horde have run from me, mages and rogues prove most difficult for me to kill...

i think the only option would get a weapon which has a chance to stun? i don't know if there is such a thing...

might get something in later lvls i will have a look

Hexx u have a stun spell i think.
Some good maces can stun i think.

Oohhh dual wielding 2 stunning maces..... ummm

I have a sword the does shadow damage (Black Knight) but it only procs 1 of of about 30 blows. Somebody said how often it procs relates to how much spirt you have.

You have 'Hammer of Justice'. Next time you need a few seconds to buy yourself time slap them with that!

Or if the enemy is running or is about to run or whatever. When u & me are PvP some dude its kills me when u let them run off.

Have you got Sprint or Haste? Catch the mofo and slap him down with that then when we are both up with him give him more hell.

I got an idea to farm gold as well hexx!

We can sell 4 Bloodstone Ore in STV for about 1 gold. Which is fair enough given the hassel we go through to get it. There were 2 people looking to buy some last night and i was tempted to sell them ur 5 ore that i am holding. We could start a business. U farm it in that cave. And post it down to me.
Going to level to 39 then spend a few days leveling my Professions up to high lvls so i am geared for PvP from now on with good gear and lots of buffs.

I make gold by skinning and disenchanting items I don't need and selling it at AH. I make over 10G a run. I get grey useless items(vendor trash)I sell to vendor, leather from skinning I sell in AH, and disenchant items to sell later on in AH. Just sell everything a bit below the competition.

There's also the enchant you can get which slows enemies like a frostbolt - would be very useful against cowards like me ;)
