To be honest I've been in a band with a guy about 50x as good as him. I give him credit for only being eight, and I'm sure he'll get better over time as he develops his own style etc. But he just seemed to be playing the same riff over different notes of a scale. He wasn't following the scales of the note etc so the finger patterns were the same each time (meaning it's relatively easy to play really really fast). The bit which he wasn't doing this we the occasional bend on a note (again not to hard).

Verdict: For being 8: 9/10
Overall : 6/10

I agre with MoJo, fine he was fast and he was 8, but he wsnt doing anything intresting, plus it sounded horrible, fast, but horrible. But credit to him for being 8.
