DUDES!!!!!!!!!!! help me

Installed Tom Clancy Vegas (cool game btw) and had an issue with some video options. mainly when i had all details on max the sky would not display corectly. Sooo thought ill install new driver. got to nvidia download site, got the drivers (93.71 forcewave) installed them. Game runs faster, no problems at all BUT ! now i cant watch any videos on my pc ! which ever video i play dvd avi mpg and all other known formats all i get is a green screen and sound WTF ZOMFG oonohhhooos help ?:bigcry:

rollback to a slightly older version of drivers, that would be my suggestion

is this a codec problem ??

If i roll back to the older codec newer games like Vegas get so much bugs its just unplayable

Codecs are possible but since drivers were the last thing he changed and now he has a problem - that would be my first thing to check. Codecs... depends, but i doubt it would cover ALL media, since you'd have many codecs covering loads of things.

Drivers cloud... just go back one version, not back to the one you had originally. Depends how out of date your drivers were when you updated them!

did that and ur right. Iot sorted the video playback but now i cant play Vegas coz the game just crashes on the older drivers FUCK!

what do u use to play videos, maybe that needs updating to work with the new drivers?

Cloud,

1. Reinstall the newer drivers so you can play your game.
2. Stop watching porno avis.

In the event that 2 is not acceptable do the following

Start
Settings
Control Panel
Display
Settings
Advanced
Troubleshooting
Set Hardware Acceleration to None while you are watching the video and turn it back up to Full when you are done.

Hope that works, it sorts out a similar problem with videos on my work PC.
