Can we move back to a random map rotation? D2 only is doing nothing for us anyway, get a few more maps into the mix... the only 3 I personally hate are train / assault / militia, but fuck it add them back too. Should rotate all officials really. It won't hurt, can we have the random votemap option at the end of the map too?

Also let's put ads on the server saying we are recruiting, certainly I'd be open to getting another player or two into sigma, also it encourages clanless people to hang around, if they think they might be able to join the clan.

Also let's get moving on the "server join" music, like |HoT| have, I still say "C'mon C'mon" by The Von Bondies (also it's the theme music to "Rescue Me").

I second that, the server needs the extras - D2 just doesn't do it.

but the problem i find is you get maps like piranese that just clean out the server... random mapvote is fine but you often get crap options for maps. Plus more people join when D2 is on than on any other map.

I suppose you can always vote for a new map. (as i said before votemap isn't working but nominate and rockthevote still work)

Yes but if you are the only player on the server you will be stuck playing d2 forever till ppl turn up. I would like map rotation too even if it was a basic 5 maps with an opportunity to vote others. Play loads of servers with 20min maps and its great fun

See I know that people say about some maps clearing off the server but 2 things.

1. Our server doesn't have ppl on it d2 or not!
2. Other very popular servers play all maps

but you can still vote for another map if you're sick of D2... just rockthevote.

I know... but we'll say there's random maps on you can rockthevote for d2 also, it works both ways!

tbh I'm just sick of joining the server on my own on d2, now luckily for me I have admin, so I can stick on another map if I feels like it, but normal pubic (yes I did it on purpose) players don't have admin and can't vote off d2 if there are only 1 or 2 of them and bots...

I'm saying why not try it, either it...

a) won't make any difference to the amount of ppl who play
2. will improve the amount of ppl who play
z: will disimprove the amount of ppl who play

the first 2 options are fine, only lose on the 3rd and can always go back to d2 ad nauseum if that happens. I miss playing shite like prodigy, which is not a popular map vote but tends not to empty servers either...
